Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Void in PR, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries and where prohibited or restricted by law.
Sweepstakes begins 12:01:01 AM Pacific Time ("PT") June 15, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT July 31, 2008 (the "Promotion Period").
ELIGIBILITY: The "4 U & UR CREW" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is only open to legal residents of the U.S. who are physically located and residing therein and are at least 13 years of age or older at time of entry. Subscribers on non-participating wireless carriers will not be able to participate via text method using a mobile phone and will not be charged a premium message rate for any message sent or received, but standard text message rates apply for those able to enter via text. Employees and immediate families (parents, children or siblings, whether or not the individual lives in the same household) of Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., Genesco Inc., d/b/a Journeys, Grand Central Marketing, Inc., Bowe Industries, Inc. d/b/a Changes, MTV Networks, Neighborhood America, Inc., Little & King Company, LLC and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, participating sponsors, vendors, promotion or advertising agencies, or any other person or entity involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes and immediate families and members of households of each of the foregoing are ineligible to enter. "Household member" shall mean people who share the same residence at least 3 months a year. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
HOW TO ENTER:
TO ENTER VIA MOBILE DEVICE: You may enter by using your wireless two-way, text messaging enabled and activated mobile device. Text ABDC to the short code: 247365. All charges placed on cellular phone bill, or debited from pre-pay accounts. Entrants should contact their carrier for pricing plans, common short code participation and details and check their device's capabilities for specific instructions. Mobile device entries must be received no later than 11:59:59 PM PT by July 31, 2008.
TO ENTER FOR FREE VIA INTERNET: Visit www.journeyssweeps.com and follow the instructions for entry. All fields listed must be completed. Internet entries must be received no later than 11:59:59 PM PT on July 31, 2008.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: A random drawing to select the winner will be conducted on/about August 1, 2008 from among all valid mobile and internet entries received during the Promotion Period. Random drawing will be conducted by Little & King Co., LLC, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. If potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if his/her prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected at Sponsor's sole discretion.
PRIZES/ODDS OF WINNING: Grand Prize (1): Grand Prize winner will receive a 3-day/2-night trip for four (winner and 3 guests) to the taping of America's Best Dance Crew Finale ("Finale") in Los Angeles, CA on August 21, 2008. Trip includes roundtrip coach class airfare for winner and three guests from a major US airport closest to the winner's home to the Los Angeles International Airport. Transportation to and from the Finale, 2 nights' hotel accommodations (single room, quadruple occupancy), a $250 Journeys gift card and $500 total for meals. Approximate retail value of Grand Prize: $4,150.00. All travel and accommodations are subject to availability, confirmation of reservations and must be taken within the timeframe provided by Sponsor; if winner is unable to take trip during this time period, prize may be forfeited. Certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Winner and travel companions must travel together and depart and return to the same locations. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible mobile and internet entries received during the Promotion Period. No substitution, assignment or transfer of prize permitted, unless prize becomes unavailable, in which case a prize of equal value will be substituted by Sponsor at Sponsor's sole discretion. GENERAL SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: A maximum of 2 entries will be permitted during the Promotion Period, regardless of entry method. Once submitted, all entries become the sole property of Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the mobile number and/or email address used to register the entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned the mobile phone number and/or email address by a U.S. Wireless Carrier and or Internet Service Provider. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entrants must have purchased a mobile phone with a participating, U.S. Wireless Carrier with access to wireless 2-way, text messaging and/or had existing internet access and have service no less than (1) one day prior to first day of the Promotion Period. Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state, and local laws (collectively "Rules and Laws"). Potential winners will be required to sign and have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and any other documentation that Sponsor requires (and where legally permissible a Publicity Release) within three (3) days of notification date or such winner will be disqualified and Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select an alternate winner. If the winner is a resident of a state that deems him/her to be a minor, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent/legal guardian, who must sign Affidavit/Release on his/her behalf; if a minor wins the prize, a parent/legal guardian must accompany minor on trip and will be considered one of the 3 guests accompanying the winner. By returning the completed Affidavit/Release, winner attests to the authenticity of his/her winning entry. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification with an alternate winner selected. Taxes and any other expenses and incidentals not mentioned herein are winner's sole responsibility. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules. Winner consents to use of their name and likeness for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Entrants hereby release and hold harmless Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., Genesco Inc., d/b/a Journeys, Grand Central Marketing, Inc., Bowe Industries, Inc. d/b/a Changes., MTV Networks, Neighborhood America, Inc., Little & King Company, LLC and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, related entities, affiliates, promotion or advertising agencies, employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents from any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities arising out of this promotion or use or misuse of the prizes awarded hereunder. Sponsor assumes no liability or responsibility for damages, losses or injury resulting from this Sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of the prizes. By claiming prize, winner and their guests agree to assume all risks and agree that the prize is awarded upon the condition that Sponsor and its respective agencies or employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, death or other damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the prize by winner or winner's guests. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures or any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Website or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incomplete, illegible, stolen, mutilated or misdirected entries. No mechanical reproduction of entries accepted. Mass entries, or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. Entrant is responsible for all on-line charges and text messaging fees incurred and with any Internet Service Provider and or wireless carrier. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Sponsor and/or Sweepstakes Administrator determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual tampering with the Sweepstakes or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor and/or Sweepstakes Administrator reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate or modify the Sweepstakes and/or conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Sweepstakes is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to the expiration date of the Promotion Period, notice will be posted at www.journeyssweeps.com. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action.
